Inspired by the lands of Scotland. Ancient and wise Scots Pine, fragrant Western Red Cedar, apothecary favourite and all rounder - lavender swirl together with heart fuelled wild rose and French Clay to bring you a completely natural landscape of plants in a pot, to care for your face and soul.
A purifying and soothing blend of cleansing powders, clay, and skin-soothing dried herbs that can be applied as a mask (add water, milk or honey - or all 3 to create your liquid mask/scrub) or mix with a cleansing oil or facewash to create your very own plant scrub for a deep clean complexion.
This blend contains beautiful hand powdered rose, calming Scottish picked summertime lavender, anti-inflammatory Cedarwood and redness reducing Scots Pine. These carefully selected plants are ground down and blended with French Clay.
Top tip - use as a mask or blend with your face cleanser or oil for a plant powered face scrub that will leave your face feeling so soft and revitalised. A cleanser using nothing but plants? Yes please! Use as a scrub once or twice a week and give yourself the treat of a facemask once a week!
About the plants and their benefits -
French Clay attaches to oil, bacteria, and impurities from the skin to eliminate them and leave skin feeling cleansed, clarified, and balanced. It helps to naturally exfoliate the dry skin layer and increase circulation, leaving your skin looking and feeling soft and moisturised.
Lavender works to kill bacteria, and this can prevent and heal acne breakouts. It unclogs pores, helps even skin tone while the beta-caryophyllene in the plant also acts as a natural anti-inflammatory.
Pine can help soothe itchiness, inflammation, and dryness, controls excessive perspiration and protects minor abrasions from developing into infections. It can help slow the appearance of signs of aging, and enhances circulation
Cedar can help to soothe and calm irritated skin. In fact, Cedarwood is particularly renowned for its ability to help reduce eczema flare ups
Wild Rose can help to protect and hydrate skin, fight free radical damage, and reduce wrinkles. Packed full of vitamins and antioxidants to help rejuvenate the skin and restore elasticity. Rose can help to correct dark spots, and reduce the appearance of scars.
How to care for your plant mask - Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight and use within 12 months of opening. Make sure not to get water or anything else in the jar as the longevity of the mask will be reduced considerably.
