The Aurora candle
Bergamot, Frankincense, Myrrh and Lavender essential oil candle in an eco soy and coconut wax base. All natural and plant based. 
In a stunning shimmery, colourful &  pearlescent jar. When lit this candle creates a beautiful aurora on the ceiling the wall around it. A friend of mine pointed this out last year when i launched these candle jars hence the name Aurora. 
The Frankincense and Myrrh ingredients are a little nod to some of the plant mysteries around this season and read on to find out more! 
Myrrh - is a resin gathered from ancient desert trees and is a very special & sacred ingredient in this candle. Its been long associated with Christmas and one of the gifts from the three wise men. Theres a reason these herbs and plants have been mentioned!! Its revered for its warm, earthy aroma and its incredible protective and healing qualities. It has use when burned in cleansing & blessing. 
Frankincense - is a golden resin harvested from the Boswellia trees of the Arabian Peninsula and Northeast Africa. It was also offered by the wise men and is cherished for its uplifting, purifying aroma that brings spiritual clarity, deep healing and a sense of sacred peace to this seasonal candle.
Lavender - a clean, familiar and calming plant ally. Most of us know this plant as being helpful for easing stress, promoting restful sleep and creating a peaceful atmosphere. I think of lavender as one to work with when working with more recent ancestors as she reminds a lot of us in these generations of our grandparents. Traditionally lavender can be burned and is used for protection and cleansing. My hope is that this ingredient brings a sense of gentle comfort and the potential to drop into the darkness and ancestor work during the colder months
Bergamot - FOR THE REMINDER OF THE SUN! ☀️ she will return and she does start to come back to her reign on Winter Solstice. Bergamot is the essential oil extracted from the peel of the bergamot orange (Citrus bergamia) which is a small citrus tree native to the Mediterranean. Its chemical components include linalyl acetate, limonene and linalool which are known to have mood-lifting & stress-reducing properties which make it a scientifically recognised choice for use in candles to help promote relaxation and a clean, uplifting atmosphere!
